Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate, and then softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes to bring the balance. The result is a delicious coffee that can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges very well.

When brewing this coffee we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. After making the coffee, let it infuse for 4 minutes. This will ensure that all the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Do not stir or stir your coffee, as this could cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in the cup.

Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, great for lazy weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast that has the sweet citrus and cocoa aroma. It has a soft mouth feel that caresses the palette. The cocoa-like notes can be traced back to a winter's afternoon spent on the couch with a good book and a warm hug from the family. To brew the coffee first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This will stop the coffee from being over extracted and causing undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml water that just boiled. Steep for four minutes, plunge, and enjoy.
